I drew Pyrrha’s parents in my rewrite AU of RWBY. This is Peleus and Thetis Nikos.
Peleus is a famous Huntsman from Mistral who was quite a hero in his youth. He trained under a horse Faunus named Chiro, who was a well known hero in his own right. Peleus made his name travelling in a group of Huntsman and Huntresses based on the Argonauts, and became so well known for his ability to single handedly fight off hordes of Grimm that he was even hired by the Queen of Mistral to do jobs.
Thetis was a well known swimmer and gold medalist in the Remnant equivalent of the Olympics. She was infamously difficult to date so when the great Huntsman Peleus attempted to flirt with her she played hard to get to see if he would keep trying. It took a while but with help from his teacher Chiro Peleus finally convinced Thetis to date him. She graduated from university in Mistral with a degree in business, which she put to use while managing Pyrrha.
one time i was in a pub in london and saw lemonade on the menu and i was like mmmm lemonade!!! but i’ve been to australia and been tricked before so i was like hey is this actual lemonade lemonade or is it just sprite and she was like it’s actual lemonade so i ordered some and she brought it back and it was sprite. i hate england
They just meant it didn’t have lime in it

honestly only americans who have been to england or australia or new zealand understand the frustration. Also you literally can’t even explain to them what real lemonade is. they simply don’t get it
i’m actually not american i just have functioning taste buds. but GOD HONESTLY like “sprite is a type of lemonade because it has lemon flavouring in it!” no. go to jail. lemonade does not have lime and corn syrup in it, and it’s not carbonated. that’s not a sweet refreshing summer beverage, it’s canned sadness.
These guys are honestly right. In Australia there is nothing that even closely resembles American “lemonade”. You’d have to make it yourself. I only vaguely know how to make it from American cartoons and it’s never sounded even slightly appetising.
I guess it’s like Vegemite. You have to grow up with it.
If you’re insinuating that lemonade is like vegemite than you’re an idiot that has never tried lemonade.
My dream is to live in a cabin by a lake in the rainy mountains, where I can look outside and see fog drifting silently over the water…but it’s got to have high-speed internet too, or I would die.
Today my shoe broke and I walked down the street with a bare foot. Handled it with ZERO embarrassment like a champ. People are staring? I DON’T CARE. LET THEM L O O K.
Literally 30 minutes later, I got grilled by a nice lady coworker about my love life… in front of the opposite sex. That one, I failed miserably at.
Still on a fast, but so far I have TWO ANSWERED PRAYERS THAT I AM TOO!!! EXCITED ABOUT!!
The first is for my suicidal friend with mental illness. Maybe you remember my prayer request post a few days back. Right before the fast they blew up at me, and gave up on Christianity to succumb to their dark mind. I thought it was going to be a rehash of the rejection I went through with a friend.
But God used that moment to convict them. Then they agreed to accompany me to a prophetic Bible Study. They appreciated the message so much and got all nerdy about theology again. And they’re going to get the spiritual counselling they need. Also theyre considering my very awesome Christian life coach who does cognitive behavioral therapy.
SECOND!!! For the past few months I’ve been praying that a friend would get a job so they could leave the awful, awful environment they’re in, both work and home. AND TODAY THEY GOT THEIR JOB!!! AT THE VERY PLACE THEY WANTED TO WORK AT!!!
SO YEAH. It’s so rewarding to see God work supernaturally and answering prayers.
